Description
Welcome to your holiday in South Cantal, located in southern Auvergne!
South facing, at 950 m above sea level, the Migratory tree house is the highest treehouse of all. A robust beech tree supports the tree house in its branches: a true eagle’s nest.
Our tree houses are accessible by small restored hundred-year old pathways. Access to the tree house is via a simple wooden staircase. You will then reach a large south facing terrace that is slightly shaded by the treetops. You can enjoy sun loungers, and take breakfast at a table on the terrace. The interior of your hut is pretty: small windows all around the tree house ensure it is amply lit. Bunk beds allow you to sleep up to three persons. A basin and pitcher are available, just like in times gone by. Personal dry toilets are located inside your tree house. You will enjoy the coming and going of birds living in the nesting boxes. At night you will have the company of the stars, moon and owls hooting nearby.
